Report: Raiders 'very high' on Dwayne Haskins
Conflicting reports have emerged in recent weeks regarding Dwayne Haskins' standing in the first round of the NFL draft. While some teams may have soured on Haskins, the Oakland Raiders are "very high" on the pivot, NFL Network's Mike Silver reports.
The Raiders own the No. 4 overall pick in the draft and are considering taking a quarterback, according to Silver, despite the presence of Derek Carr. Kyler Murray is the prime target with the fourth pick, however, if he's not available, Oakland could reportedly target Haskins with its 24th or 27th overall pick.
The Raiders have held pre-draft workouts with both Murray and Haskins.
Carr is set to enter his sixth season with the Raiders. He threw for more than 4,000 yards for the first time in his career in 2018 and added 19 touchdown passes against 10 interceptions.
