Every year, it seems, a rumor linking New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton to the Dallas Cowboys surfaces. Payton has had enough of the gossip.
"I'm in my 13th year. I don't know how to answer it. I feel like it's every other year; it's on the odd number years, so 2019 it comes up and then we'll hear it in 2021," Payton said Thursday on WWL radio, according to Josh Katzenstein of the Times-Picayune.
"I've got fleur-de-lis tattoos that can't be erased!"
Payton was the assistant head coach of the Cowboys from 2003-05, but he's been with the Saints ever since. And, from the sounds of it, he's not leaving anytime soon.
