The Minnesota Vikings and receiver Adam Thielen agreed to a four-year, $64-million extension Friday, his agent announced.
It could reach up to $73 million and Thielen will reportedly receive $35 million guaranteed, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Thielen had two years remaining on his previous contract at a total base value of $13.5 million, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
The 28-year-old posted career-high numbers last season, as he accumulated 1,373 receiving yards and nine touchdowns on 113 receptions.
Last season, Thielen became the first player in NFL history to record 100 receiving yards or more in eight consecutive games to start a campaign.
