Cornerback Jalen Ramsey responded Friday to Jacksonville Jaguars executive vice president of football operations Tom Coughlin, who expressed disappointment Thursday that the team didn't have full attendance for voluntary offseason conditioning programs.
Ramsey and linebacker Telvin Smith were the only two absences.
Ramsey's agent, David Mulugheta, tweeted that Ramsey was in his hometown of Nashville, training for the upcoming season.
Ramsey, 24, then tweeted his own response, reiterating that the team knew why he wasn't in Jacksonville.
It's the second straight year that Ramsey has missed this portion of the offseason. Smith, however, was a surprise absentee after attending every year since he entered the league in 2014.
