Beckham: I'm cancer to a team that's OK with losing
Odell Beckham Jr. took to Twitter on Monday to respond to New York Giants general manager Dave Gettleman's veiled comments about the All-Star receiver.
Asked in a Saturday interview if the Giants had a culture problem, Gettleman responded: "Not anymore."
Though the GM didn't mention Beckham by name, the Cleveland Browns wideout addressed Gettleman's comment and his time in New York in a series of tweets.
"Yes, I'm cancer to a place that's OK (with) losing," he tweeted.
Beckham put out a call earlier Monday to "haters" looking solicit a response before firing off a series of tweets and explaining why he wasn't present on the sideline for the Giants' home games.
The Giants traded the three-time Pro Bowler to the Browns in exchange for a first- and third-round pick as well as safety Jabrill Peppers.
Beckham opted to end his Twitter tirade on a positive note:
