The New York Jets are exploring a possible move from the third round into the early second round, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
The Jets' next pick is slated at the top of the third round (No. 68 overall).
A trade would cost the Jets significant future draft capital, Rapoport adds.
New York traded its 2019 second-rounder, now the No. 34 overall selection, to the Indianapolis Colts as part of a large package of picks in order to move up three spots and select Sam Darnold third overall in last year's draft.
The Jets drafted defensive tackle Quinnen Williams with the third overall pick on Thursday.
