Watt brothers to host 'Ultimate Tag' competition series

NFLers J.J. Watt, T.J. Watt, and Derek Watt are teaming up for a new competition reality series based on the classic playground game of tag.

The brothers have been tapped to host "Ultimate Tag," which is set to premiere on FOX in 2020, according to Deadline's Peter White. The series will be produced by Znak and Co. and Fox Alternative Entertainment.

Rob Wade, the president of alternative entertainment and specials at FOX, described the series as a "very strong and fun format" and a "very broad show" with plenty of co-viewing potential.

"I was looking at the acquisition of WWE and some of the sports programming we have and I believe that it sits closely to that audience and is an opportunity for families to sit around and watch that," Wade added.
