Dak Prescott is entering the final year of his rookie contract, but he's not concerned with the state of extension talks with the Dallas Cowboys.

"I think the people that are doing the deal feel the same way so to me it's no rush. I know it will get done," Prescott said Wednesday, according to Cowboys.com's Nick Eatman.

Prescott let it be known his desire is to play out his career with the star on his helmet.

"I want to be a Cowboy forever," he said.

The Cowboys' franchise quarterback could reportedly command a contract that will pay him $30 million per season and the team has acknowledged its star pivot deserves to be paid. Nonetheless, Prescott isn't sweating the details.

"It's all generational money and life-changing money. It's a blessing just to be in this position. But as far as the numbers are concerned, my focus is within the locker room. I know it'll get taken care of, so it is what it is," he said.
