Report: Jets request GM interviews with Vikings' Paton, Seahawks' Fitterer
The New York Jets reportedly have two more potential candidates they'd like to interview for their general manager position.
The Jets requested interviews with Minnesota Vikings assistant GM George Paton and Seattle Seahawks co-director of player personnel Scott Fitterer, a source informed NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Paton has spent 12 seasons with the Vikings and is currently serving under general manager Rick Spielman.
Fitterer works alongside Trent Kirchner in Seattle. He's been with the Seahawks since 2001 and has been a popular name in discussions regarding front office vacancies.
The Jets also reportedly requested GM interviews with Philadelphia Eagles vice president of player personnel Joe Douglas and Chicago Bears assistant director of player personnel Champ Kelly.
