Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Nick Foles was excused from organized team activities Tuesday for personal reasons, and there is no timetable for his return.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with Nick and his family," head coach Doug Marrone told reporters, according to Mark Long of the Associated Press.
Though his absence is listed as indefinite, Foles could return by the end of the week, reports NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.
The former Super Bowl MVP signed a four-year, $88-million contract with the Jaguars in free agency, making him the undisputed starter following a two-year stint as a backup with the Philadelphia Eagles.
