Demaryius Thomas is counting his blessings.
The veteran wide receiver says he's lucky to have emerged from a single-vehicle crash on Feb. 16.
"I could have been gone but I still get another opportunity," Thomas said to TMZ Sports on Thursday.
Thomas crashed into a curb, and a witness said his car flipped several times in the air, according to TMZ.
"I wake up every morning and thank the lord above. And just thankful for not even just being able to do what I do - being able to talk, walk, eat, all those things that we forget about on a daily basis," Thomas said.
"It was a tough time and I'm still going through stuff, but I'm blessed."
The nine-year vet signed a one-year deal with the New England Patriots in April.
