Free-agent defensive tackle Muhammad Wilkerson was arrested for drunk driving early Saturday in Washington Heights, N.Y., officials told Rikki Reyna, Shayna Jacobs, and Thomas Tracy of the New York Daily News.
Wilkerson was caught rolling through a stop sign and was about to receive a ticket before police realized he was drunk behind the wheel. He scored a .09 on a breathalyzer test, slightly over the legal threshold of .08.
The 29-year-old spent the 2018 campaign with the Green Bay Packers but suffered a season-ending ankle injury in Week 3.
Wilkerson played the first seven seasons of his career with the New York Jets after the team selected him 30th overall in 2011. He's yet to schedule any free-agent visits this offseason.
