Report: Antonio Brown declined to sign $2M settlement with accuser
Antonio Brown began settlement discussions with a woman accusing him of sexual assault as far back as April, reports ESPN's Jeff Darlington.
Discussions between the two sides have included two mediations, Darlington reports, and Brown declined to sign a $2-million agreement to settle with his former trainer Britney Taylor.
The decision not to settle came around the same time Brown signed with the New England Patriots, Darlington adds.
Taylor filed a lawsuit Tuesday, alleging Brown sexually assaulted her on three separate occasions.
Taylor is expected to meet with the NFL on Monday, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.
Taylor is cooperating with the league's investigators and has already provided information in advance of the meeting, reports ESPN's Josina Anderson.
Brown is on track to make both his season and Patriots debut on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins.
