Eli Manning finally fired a shot back at former teammate Odell Beckham Jr.

In a GQ magazine interview released Monday, Beckham claimed he was the primary reason the New York Giants have recently received prime-time game slots despite often boasting a sub-par record. Manning, however, was quick to brush off the receiver's thoughts.

"I don't think they bothered me," he told NFL Network after Thursday's practice, according to Ryan Dunleavy of NJ.com. "You just kind of shake your head and laugh. ... I won a few games before he was here."

Manning isn't wrong. The veteran captured both of his Super Bowl championships prior to Beckham's arrival.

Beckham's jab at his former signal-caller wasn't his first of the offseason. The star wideout claimed he had to adjust to Baker Mayfield's throwing speed upon joining the Cleveland Browns after experiencing "different" velocity in New York.

Manning, 38, is entering his 16th NFL campaign. He's the heavy favorite to start Week 1 despite the Giants selecting Daniel Jones sixth overall in April's draft.
