The Miami Dolphins are reportedly set to sign free-agent wide receiver Allen Hurns to a one-year contract worth up to $3 million, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The Dallas Cowboys released the veteran wideout Tuesday, just three days before the start of training camp.
Hurns was mostly an afterthought in his lone season in Dallas after the acquisition of Amari Cooper, recording a career-low 295 yards and 20 catches before suffering a gruesome ankle injury in the wild-card round.
The 27-year-old joins a receiving corps led by Kenny Stills, DeVante Parker, and Albert Wilson. He will likely battle with the likes of Brice Butler and Jakeem Grant for the fourth wideout role.
