Bengals' Ross suffers hamstring injury, could be out 2 weeks
The Cincinnati Bengals continue to take hits to their receiving corps, as third-year wideout John Ross suffered a hamstring injury during training camp.
The Bengals stated he could miss at least two weeks of action.
Ross' injury comes at an inopportune time for Cincinnati. No. 1 target A.J. Green tore ligaments in his left ankle during Saturday's practice, which will likely sideline him for six-to-eight weeks.
The Bengals were counting on Ross to step up in Green's absence.
The speedy receiver has battled a number of injuries since being selected ninth overall in 2017. He missed three games last year due to a knee injury, while shoulder and knee ailments derailed his rookie season as well, causing him to suit up for just three games.
Tyler Boyd, Josh Malone, Cody Core, and Alex Erickson currently sit atop Cincinnati's depth chart heading into preseason action.
