Bills' McCoy ordered to pay $55K to officer hurt in 2016 bar fight
Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy and former Pittsburgh running back Tamarcus Porter have each been ordered to pay $55,000 to Philadelphia police officer Roland Butler, who was injured in a 2016 bar fight with the two players.
William Davis, the attorney representing Butler, told ESPN's John Barr that McCoy already paid his share but Porter has not.
The compensation was the result of an agreement that came after an arbitrator's decision earlier this year and stems from a civil case.
The fight occurred around 2:30 a.m. on Feb. 7, 2016, and was found to be the result of an argument between the off-duty officer and Porter about who ordered a bottle of champagne.
McCoy was seen on video striking in the direction of a grounded Butler. He originally argued he acted in self-defense.
