Brady, Gisele put Massachusetts home on market for $39.5M
Tom Brady and his wife, Gisele Bundchen, have placed their Massachusetts home on the market for $39.5 million, according to Jeff Darlington of ESPN.
The New England Patriots quarterback's next-closest property is nearly three hours from Foxborough in Amenia, N.Y.
The couple also owns a home in New York City and is apparently looking at places in Greenwich, Conn., and Alpine, N.J., added Darlington.
Brady reportedly recently inked a new extension with the Patriots that will raise his 2019 salary from $15 million to $23 million.
However, the contract's two additional seasons will apparently be void at the end of the current league year, meaning the Patriots and Brady will need to renegotiate next offseason.
As part of his new pact, New England reportedly agreed not to use either the franchise or transition tag to retain him in 2020.
"It is what it is. That's a good line," Brady said Monday. "So whoever said it, it's very pertinent. Like I said, there's a lot of guys who have one year left on their contract(s), so the situation - I've got one year to go and we'll see what happens."
