Wide receiver Keke Coutee was forced to exit the Houston Texans' preseason opener versus the Green Bay Packers due to injury.
Houston has yet to announce an official diagnosis, but NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that Coutee hurt his ankle and that the injury isn't considered major.
Coutee rolled up under a Packers defender while being tackled. He was helped off the field by trainers, according to Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle, and later carted to the locker room.
The second-year receiver was one of the stars of Texans training camp. He's been slated to open the 2019 season as the team's No. 3 receiver.
Hamstring injuries limited Coutee to just six games as a rookie last year. He caught 28 passes for 287 yards and one touchdown.
