Former fullback Le'Ron McClain released a series of alarming tweets Saturday, asking the NFL for help to get his "head checked" while saying he's been going through "dark times."
The 34-year-old McClain, who spent seven seasons clearing holes for NFL running backs, also said he needs to share his story of how "my head is crazy and how football did it."
He added that the NFL "don't care" and that the league "puts paperwork in our faces and that's it."
Then on Monday, McClain weighed in on quarterback Andrew Luck's shocking decision to retire. In stepping away, Luck cited mental and physical fatigue due to constant injuries and rehabilitation.
