The Oakland Raiders and center Rodney Hudson have agreed to multi-year contract extension, the team confirmed Friday.
Hudson inked a three-year, $33.75-million extension, making him the highest-paid center in the NFL, a source told Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. The deal reportedly contains $24.4 million in guarantees.
Hudson has thrived since joining the Raiders in 2015, earning two Pro Bowl nods over the last four seasons. He spent the first half of his career with the division rival Kansas City Chiefs.
The 30-year-old has excelled most in pass blocking, conceding only one pressure per 151 snaps in protection since 2017, according to PFF's Mark Chichester, by far the best rate in the league.
