Cleveland Browns star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is "ready to go" for the team's season opener Sunday despite a hip injury, head coach Freddie Kitchens announced Friday, according to Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal.

Kitchens said Beckham won't be on a snap count against the Tennessee Titans, according to Scott Petrak of The Chronicle-Telegram, who added that the pass-catcher was again a full participant in Friday's practice.

Beckham revealed Thursday that his hip injury is preventing him "from opening up and sprinting," though he, too, said he was still set to play in Week 1.

"It's like an extremely fast car with the alignment off,'' Beckham said. "The car can still go, but it's dangerous.''

Beckham sat out the entire preseason due to the lingering ailment but it appears his Browns debut will go ahead as planned following his blockbuster move from the New York Giants.
