Report: Multiple Dolphins players seeking trades after blowout loss
Multiple Miami Dolphins players reportedly instructed their agents to seek out trades after the team's 59-10 loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, a source told ProFootballTalk's Mike Florio.
Players believe the coaching staff isn't serious about competing and is instead attempting to secure high draft capital with an eye on the future, Florio reports.
The Dolphins, however, told Florio that they haven't received requests from any players.
Miami made numerous moves during the offseason, most recently shipping off left tackle Laremy Tunsil and receiver Kenny Stills for a haul of draft picks.
The Dolphins also traded away Kiko Alonso and Ryan Tannehill, as well as released or declined to re-sign numerous veterans, including Cameron Wake, T.J. McDonald, Ja'Wuan James, Danny Amendola, and Frank Gore.
Before the start of the season, head coach Brian Flores denied that the Dolphins were attempting to tank.
