The results of an MRI on Joe Mixon's injured ankle came back "all good," and the Cincinnati Bengals running back could play in Week 2 against the San Francisco 49ers, a source told NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
Mixon reportedly suffered an ankle sprain while attempting to avoid a tackle during the third quarter of Sunday's loss to the Seattle Seahawks. He briefly went to the locker room but was able to return to the sideline.
The third-year back recorded 10 rushing yards on six carries and seven receiving yards on two catches before leaving the game.
Mixon entered the season as a widely picked breakout candidate following a 1,168-yard, eight-touchdown campaign in 2018.
