The Arizona Cardinals released veteran wide receiver Michael Crabtree, the team announced Monday.
The 32-year-old appeared in two games for Arizona, notching four receptions for 22 yards. Crabtree joined the Cardinals late in the preseason on a one-year deal reportedly worth up to $5.5 million.
Crabtree, once one of the league's better possession receivers, topped the 1,000-yard receiving mark with the San Francisco 49ers in 2012 and with the Oakland Raiders in 2016.
The former Texas Tech star managed just 607 yards with three touchdowns as a member of the Baltimore Ravens in 2018.
