New York Giants cornerback DeAndre Baker pleaded not guilty to all eight charges tied to an incident last week in Miramar, Florida, according to court documents obtained by NJ.com's Darryl Slater.

Seattle Seahawks cornerback Quinton Dunbar, who was also involved, entered the same plea for his four armed robbery charges on Tuesday, his attorney told ESPN's Cameron Wolfe.

Baker is facing four counts of armed robbery and four counts of aggravated assault with a firearm.

The 22-year-old's lawyer, Bradford M. Cohen, entered the written plea to Broward County Circuit Court on Monday. Future hearing dates have yet to be set, according to court records.

The two players are accused of stealing money and watches while holding firearms, according to the arrest warrant. Multiple witnesses allege that Baker ordered another suspect wearing a red mask to shoot an individual who entered during the incident, according to the affidavit.

New York's 2019 first-round pick turned himself in to the Miramar Police Department in Florida on Saturday, and Dunbar did the same afterward. Baker was ordered to surrender his carry permit and firearm upon his release on Sunday.

The young cornerback's representation is maintaining its client didn't commit a crime. Patrick G. Patel, Baker's attorney for NFL matters, told Slater "This kid is not guilty."

The Giants recently told the sophomore cornerback to stay away from virtual team meetings for now to focus on his legal issues.
