Report: John Ross to miss multiple games with shoulder injury
Cincinnati Bengals receiver John Ross is expected to miss multiple weeks after suffering a shoulder injury in Monday night's loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports, citing sources.
Ross could miss upwards of a month, Garafolo adds.
The wideout was enjoying a breakout year in his third season. He started the campaign with seven catches for 158 yards and two touchdowns in Week 1 and followed it up with 112 yards and another score in Week 2. His 328 yards through four games is more than he had in his rookie and sophomore seasons combined.
It's a big blow to a receiving corps that is already without star A.J. Green, who has yet to play since injuring his foot on the first day of training camp. Tyler Boyd and Auden Tate will likely take on a larger role in the passing game.
The 0-4 Bengals face the 0-3-1 Arizona Cardinals in Week 5.
