Report: Bell's Week 10 availability in doubt due to knee injury
There are concerns that New York Jets running back Le'Veon Bell won't be available for the team's Week 10 matchup with the New York Giants, according to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News.
Bell is scheduled to undergo an MRI on his injured knee Tuesday, and the Jets are reportedly signing practice squad running back Josh Adams to the active roster. The team expects to have more clarity on Bell's status later in the week.
Even if he does miss Sunday's matchup, the star tailback's injury isn't considered serious, reports ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Bell apparently injured his knee during last week's loss to the Miami Dolphins, but New York head coach Adam Gase admitted Monday he "can't say exactly where it happened."
The 27-year-old Bell has accumulated 415 rushing yards, 242 receiving yards, and two total touchdowns through eight games this season for the struggling Jets.
