The Indianapolis Colts' shocking win over the Kansas City Chiefs came at a cost.

Second-year defensive end Kemoko Turay will miss the rest of the season after suffering a broken ankle late in the fourth quarter of Sunday night's 19-13 victory, head coach Frank Reich confirmed Monday.

The second-round pick was a big part of the Colts' strong performance against the Chiefs' high-flying offense, hitting quarterback Patrick Mahomes three times and chipping in with two assisted tackles. He was carted from the game after sustaining the gruesome injury.

Entering Week 5, Turay had recorded 1.5 sacks while playing limited pass-rushing snaps behind Justin Houston, Jabaal Sheard, and Al-Quadin Muhammad. He was Pro Football Focus' top-ranked edge rusher through four weeks.

With Turay done for the year, the Colts will need 2019 second-rounder Ben Banogu to step up behind their starting defensive ends.
