Report: Steelers' Washington to miss few weeks with shoulder injury
The Pittsburgh Steelers have been hit with the injury bug leading up to their Week 6 tilt against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Wide receiver James Washington is expected to miss a few weeks with a shoulder injury he suffered Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens, a source told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
The news comes as quarterback Mason Rudolph is still in the league's concussion protocol, which leaves undrafted rookie Devlin Hodges as the potential starter against the Chargers.
Pittsburgh is already without Ben Roethlisberger, who was ruled out for the season after suffering an elbow injury in Week 2.
Washington has started four of five games this year and has just nine catches for 140 yards.
Diontae Johnson and Donte Moncrief are likely to see increased snaps out wide across from JuJu Smith-Schuster.
