New England Patriots wide receiver Josh Gordon was forced out of Thursday Night Football against the New York Giants after suffering a knee injury in the second quarter.
The team said he was questionable to return, but the wideout began the second half on the sideline and never reentered the game. Despite his absence, the Patriots coasted to a 35-14 victory.
The 28-year-old got hurt while trying to tackle Giants linebacker Markus Golden, who was returning a Tom Brady fumble to the end zone.
Gordon, who recorded 280 receiving yards and one touchdown coming into the game, caught one pass for seven yards versus the Giants prior to his departure.
