Report: Broncos want 2nd-round pick for Harris

The 2-6 Denver Broncos appear to be sellers ahead of Tuesday's 4 p.m. trade deadline, though the price they've set on veteran cornerback Chris Harris is too high for the Philadelphia Eagles, Denver7's Troy Renck reports.

The Broncos have been asking for a second-round pick in exchange for Harris, but the Eagles are not willing to pay that price, according to Renck.

Denver is reportedly not as motivated to deal the nine-year pro as it was wideout Emmanuel Sanders. The 30-year-old Harris, whose contract expires at the end of the season, said he wants to finish the campaign with the Broncos, Renck added.

Harris has amassed 22 tackles, four passes defended, one pick, and one forced fumble through eight games this year.

The Eagles have been connected to several cornerbacks, including Harris, in the lead-up to the trade deadline.

Philadelphia was unwilling to meet the Jaguars' trade demands for Jalen Ramsey and is reportedly unlikely to pay the "incredibly high" price tag for Detroit Lions corner Darius Slay.
