The Green Bay Packers are reportedly optimistic that injured wide receiver Davante Adams will be ready to return for Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Chargers, sources told Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Adams, who's been out since Sept. 26, will go through a workout to test his ailing toe, but the NFC North leaders are planning on him being available, added Rapoport.
The 26-year-old is officially listed as questionable.
Adams was in the midst of his best game of the season before suffering the injury, racking up 10 catches for 180 yards against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 4.
Young receivers Jake Kumerow and Allen Lazard have stepped up in Adams' absence and earned the trust of star quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
