It appears the New York Jets received calls about players other than just Jamal Adams and Le'Veon Bell prior to the NFL trade deadline.
Teams were reportedly interested in acquiring 2019 first-round pick Quinnen Williams, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
At least one team offered a blockbuster package of picks for the young defensive lineman and believed the Jets couldn't turn down the proposal, Schefter added.
The Jets, however, denied all offers.
New York selected the Alabama product third overall this past April.
The 2018 Outland Trophy winner battled an ankle injury to begin his NFL career. He's accumulated 16 tackles and 0.5 sacks in fives games thus far.
