Oakland Raiders defensive end Arden Key suffered a broken foot in Week 9 and is expected to miss the remainder of the season, a source told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Key will receive a second opinion from foot specialist Dr. Robert Anderson to confirm the diagnosis, Rapoport added.
The 23-year-old lineman has battled a number of ailments in 2019. He underwent shoulder surgery in January and missed Oakland's Week 7 loss to the Green Bay Packers with a patellar tendon injury.
A third-round pick in 2018, Key started his sophomore campaign slowly but picked up a sack in two straight games before going down.
In his absence, Benson Mayowa, along with rookies Clelin Ferrell and Maxx Crosby, will likely see increased pass-rush snaps on the edge.
