The Tennessee Titans announced Tuesday that cornerback Malcolm Butler was placed on injured reserve with a wrist ailment suffered in Sunday's Week 9 loss to the Carolina Panthers.
Through nine games this season, Butler produced 30 tackles, 10 passes defensed and two interceptions, including a pick-6.
He's in the second season of a five-year, $61.25-million deal with the Titans.
In a corresponding move, Tennessee re-signed cornerback Tye Smith.
