New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton said Thursday he "fully expects" running back Alvin Kamara to suit up in Week 10 against the Atlanta Falcons after missing the last two contests with an ankle injury.
The Saints won both games without their two-time Pro Bowler thanks in large part to the play of his replacement, Latavius Murray. Over the past two weeks, Murray has put on a show, piling up 307 yards from scrimmage and four total touchdowns on 62 touches.
With the Tennessee product coming back, Murray will likely return to a reserve role.
Kamara has contributed 649 yards from scrimmage and two total touchdowns on 119 touches through six games this season and will look to get back in the groove on Sunday after three weeks off.
