San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders was ruled out for the remainder of his team's Monday Night Football matchup against the Seattle Seahawks due to a rib injury.

Sanders hurt his rib while running a route in the first half. He hauled in two catches for 24 yards before leaving the game.

Acquired from the Denver Broncos prior to the trade deadline, the veteran wideout has been thriving since joining San Francisco. The 32-year-old has totaled 13 receptions for 151 yards and two touchdowns across three starts.

Deebo Samuel, Marquise Goodwin, Kendrick Bourne, and Dante Pettis will fill in at receiver in Sanders' absence.

Defensive tackle D.J. Jones and linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair were also ruled out after sustaining a groin injury and concussion, respectively.
