The New York Jets signed veteran tight end Ryan Griffin to a multi-year contract extension on Saturday.
Griffin inked a three-year deal worth up to $10.8 million with incentives, including $4 million guaranteed, a source told NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.
The 29-year-old leads the team with a career-high four touchdown receptions to go along with 25 catches for 225 yards over 10 games in his second year with the Jets.
Griffin broke out with five grabs for 109 yards and a touchdown in a Week 11 win over Washington.
