Advertisers wasted no time booking Super Bowl spots this year.
Seth Winter, the executive vice president of sports sales for FOX Sports, said the network sold out all 77 of its in-game ads for Super Bowl LIV by last Friday, according to Jason Lynch of Adweek. Some 30-second spots sold for as much as $5.6 million - a new Super Bowl record.
Lynch said this is the earliest that Super Bowl ads have sold out since the 2011 edition when each spot was purchased by late October.
Winter wouldn't reveal which advertisers have purchased Super Bowl spots, though it's been reported that United States President Donald Trump could be among them.
Super Bowl LIV will take place on Feb. 2, 2020, at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.
