Seattle Seahawks defensive end Jadeveon Clowney is set to return for Monday night's game against the Minnesota Vikings after missing Week 12 with a core-muscle injury.

"We just practiced him very lightly today but he did well yesterday and he's fine," head coach Pete Carroll said Saturday, per ESPN's Brady Henderson. "He should be ready to go."

The star pass-rusher is listed as questionable along with Seahawks defensive tackle Jarran Reed (ankle) and linebacker Mychal Kendricks (hamstring). Carroll added that Reed is also expected to suit up.

Clowney suffered the injury during a dominant performance in a Week 10 win over the San Francisco 49ers.

The 26-year-old said he's determined to play through the injury but admitted he might need surgery in the future.

"So I'm holding that off and trying to finish this season," Clowney said about the possibility of surgery. "If it was a lot of games left, it'd be different. But we ain't got many ... I just told him (Dr. William Meyers) I think I can get through those and try to help this team."
