Oakland Raiders running back Josh Jacobs is expected to return to the lineup Sunday versus the Jacksonville Jaguars after missing last week with a shoulder injury, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Jacobs was forced to watch his team lose by a score of 42-21 to the Tennessee Titans in Week 14 but his recent MRI revealed positive news.
The rookie first-rounder previously revealed he's been playing with a broken shoulder plate since late October, though last week's tilt was the first he's missed this year.
Jacobs' return provides a significant boost to Oakland's offense. The young tailback leads all rookies in rushing yards and touchdowns. His 1,061 yards on the ground rank sixth league-wide.
