Browns' Landry could require offseason hip surgery
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry may need to undergo surgery on an injured hip this offseason, he told Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com.
The Pro Bowl pass-catcher didn't reveal details of his injury but, according to Cabot, it has plagued him all season. Landry, who's eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark for the third time in his career, has appeared in all 14 games for the Browns this season.
Despite the ailment, Landry has managed to surpass his receiving yardage and touchdown tally from last year.
The 27-year-old Landry is in the second season of a five-year, $75.5-million contract he signed following a trade from the Miami Dolphins.
Fellow Browns receiver Odell Beckham Jr., one of Landry's best friends, is reportedly expected to undergo offseason surgery to repair a sports hernia.
