The Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers will occupy the final prime-time slot of the 2019 regular season, as the NFL flexed their Week 17 matchup to Sunday Night Football, the league announced Sunday afternoon.
The NFC West title is guaranteed to be on the line when the two clubs meet. The No. 1 seed in the NFC could also potentially be up for grabs.
The Seahawks and 49ers played an overtime thriller in Week 10, when Seattle prevailed 27-24 on Monday Night Football in the Bay Area.
Next week's Sunday Night Football will mark the fifth prime-time game of the season for Seattle, and the sixth for San Francisco.
