Los Angeles Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey won't play against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 17 because of a knee injury.

"He had a Grade II strain on the LCL and he'll be out for the game," head coach Sean McVay said Tuesday, according to Cameron DaSilva of Rams Wire.

Ramsey suffered the injury Saturday in a loss to the San Francisco 49ers that eliminated the Rams from playoff contention. The Pro Bowl defender notched his first interception since joining Los Angeles against San Francisco.

The Rams don't expect Ramsey to require surgery, but the injury could sideline him from football activities for at least a month.

"Typically, it's something that can take anywhere between a month, a month-and-a-half," McVay said. "But it should heal on its own."

Ramsey will finish his season with five pass breakups and one pick across 13 appearances split between the Rams and Jacksonville Jaguars.
