Winston records 1st-ever 30 TD-30 INT season with pick-6 in OT
Jameis Winston of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is the first quarterback in NFL history to have 30 touchdown passes and 30 interceptions in the same season.
Winston earned the dubious distinction after throwing another two picks in Sunday's season finale against the Atlanta Falcons. Ricardo Allen intercepted Winston in the second quarter and Deion Jones nabbed a walk-off pick-6 in overtime.
The stat underscores Winston's roller-coaster season. While he entered the day leading the league in passing yards and second in touchdown passes, he's far and away the league leader in picks.
He also now owns an NFL record for most pick-6s in a season with seven.
However, the fifth-year pro did earn a positive historical milestone Sunday. He eclipsed 5,000 passing yards for the season, becoming just the eighth quarterback in league history to do so.
