Following a wild final day of action, the AFC side of the playoff bracket has been settled.
The Miami Dolphins stunned the New England Patriots, allowing the Kansas City Chiefs to leapfrog the Pats for the second seed and a first-round bye.
The Patriots' loss and a Chiefs win snapped New England's historic streak of nine straight byes. Tom Brady and Co. have never won a Super Bowl without bypassing the wild-card round.
The Titans beat the Houston Texans' backups to edge out the Pittsburgh Steelers and Oakland Raiders for the final wild-card spot.

The 49ers secured the NFC West title and the conference's top seed with a thrilling win over the Seahawks on Sunday night. That result bumped the Packers down to the No. 2 seed, and the Saints to the third spot.
