Eagles' Brooks out for playoffs, Sanders likely to play vs. Seahawks
The Philadelphia Eagles will be without Pro Bowl guard Brandon Brooks for the entirety of the playoffs due to a shoulder injury, head coach Doug Pederson announced Monday, per NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.
Running back Miles Sanders should be good to go for Philadelphia's wild-card game against the Seattle Seahawks despite an ankle injury suffered in Week 17, Pederson added.
Meanwhile, the team is hoping that tight end Zach Ertz (ribs/kidney) and right tackle Lane Johnson (ankle) will have a shot to suit up. Both players missed Sunday's victory over the New York Giants and will be worked back into practice this week.
The injury-ravaged Eagles have also lost defensive end Daeshon Hall to a torn ACL, which he suffered on the final play against the Giants, according to Les Bowen of The Philadelphia Inquirer.
