Report: Browns GM Dorsey in serious danger of losing job
John Dorsey will meet Tuesday with Cleveland Browns owner Jimmy Haslam and the general manager's job status is in serious doubt, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo.
The Browns have already fired Freddie Kitchens, who lasted just one year as head coach after overseeing a tumultuous campaign that featured more than its fair share of drama off the field and a lack of discipline on it.
Dorsey has taken an aggressive approach to talent acquisition since being named general manager in December 2017. His notable moves include the signing of controversial running back Kareem Hunt, a blockbuster trade for wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., and the drafting of quarterback Baker Mayfield first overall. Mayfield enjoyed a splendid rookie year but regressed a sophomore.
Multiple sources around the league believe Browns’ GM John Dorsey is out, however there still are more meetings today to finalize parting arrangements.

Cleveland was hailed as a potential Super Bowl contender after acquiring Beckham and other established veterans last offseason, and the club pro shop began selling Dorsey's signature white sweater as his popularity with the fan base skyrocketed.
The big moves didn't lead to expected results, however, as the Browns slumped to a 6-10 record in 2019.
