Polamalu, Wayne headline list of 15 Pro Football Hall of Fame finalists

The list of potential 2020 Pro Football Hall of Famers has been whittled down to 15.
The league announced this year's crop of finalists Thursday. The group is headlined by former superstars Troy Polamalu, Reggie Wayne, and John Lynch.
The 15 finalists are:
- Troy Polamalu, S, Pittsburgh Steelers
- Edgerrin James, RB, Indianapolis Colts-Arizona Cardinals-Seattle Seahawks
- Zach Thomas, LB, Miami Dolphins-Dallas Cowboys
- Bryant Young, DT, San Francisco 49ers
- Richard Seymour, DL, New England Patriots-Oakland Raiders
- John Lynch, S, Tampa Bay Buccaneers-Denver Broncos
- Steve Atwater, S, Denver Broncos-New York Jets
- LeRoy Butler, S, Green Bay Packers
- Reggie Wayne, WR, Indianapolis Colts
- Torry Holt, WR, St. Louis Rams-Jacksonville Jaguars
- Isaac Bruce, WR, St. Louis Rams-San Francisco 49ers
- Sam Mills, LB, New Orleans Saints-Carolina Panthers
- Tony Boselli, OT, Jacksonville Jaguars
- Alan Faneca, G, Pittsburgh Steelers-New York Jets-Arizona Cardinals
- Steve Hutchinson, G, Seattle Seahawks-Minnesota Vikings-Tennessee Titans
Polamalu and Wayne were the only finalists to be selected in their first year of eligibility.
The 2020 Hall of Fame class will be unveiled Feb. 1.
